"Ma'am , Would you like to have something?"

"No , Thank you" I politely smiled at Jess.

"Okay everyone , Tell me which was the least sold item this month" I asked the employees working in the restaurant.

I came to check up on the restaurant today. Dylan was out of town for some business with William. Today I decided to drive because I haven't drived since I started staying with Dylan.

We all discussed the problems and all the things , all the operations of the restaurant for sometime.

I unlocked my car and was just going to get inside when someone called my name. I turned towards the voice and saw Austin , my neighbour who always flirts with everyone.

"Hey Austin" I faked a smile.

"Hey darling" He smirked. " Actually I have been trying to contact you but you were unreachable" He pulled out his phone from his pocket.

"Ohh maybe network problem"

"Actually I have been invited to a business party and I needed a date" He nervously rubbed his neck.

"I know , you also got the invitation right ? So , can you join me as my date please? I mean we have to go the same place so why not go together?" He asked.

"I'm sorry Austin but I already have a date"

"Who?" He clenched his jaw.

"My boyfriend" I smiled.

"You're just trying to avoid me right? You don't have a boyfriend" He sighed "Look I know , I change girls every week but it is different with you. I really like you" he tried to touch my arm but I took a step back.

"But I don't like you Austin and I really have a boyfriend"

"Don't fu*king lie. I know you like me" He took a step towards me , his eyes getting red in anger.

"No , I don't Austin." I again took a step back. "I only like my boyfriend and I know you will also find that person"

He again took a step towards me and I again took a step back. He clenched his fist and my back collided with the wall.

"If you didn't like me , why were you smiling that day huh?" He punched his fist on the wall and I flinched.

"Tell me huh?" He grabbed my arms tightly.

"You're hurting me"

"I don't care. I just need an answer. Tell me" His grip tightened and a tear fell down my eyes.

"I was just genu..." Before I could complete, I heard a gunshot . My eyes instantly got closed because of fear.

My heart racing rapidly in my chest. I couldn't breathe. I need Dylan here with me.

"Baby" A calming voice called me , soft hand caressed my cheek , warm body pressed into mine.

"Dylan" I opened my eyes and sighed. I hugged him tightly. "Did he die" My voice cracked a little.

"No , I just shot him on the leg" I pulled away and looked into his eyes. His gaze was so intense. He looked each and every feature of my face then his gaze fell on my bruised arm.

He frowned and grabbed my arm. He touched the bruise and I winced. He clenched his jaw and fist. He looked in my teary eyes and sighed.

"Did he do this" I didn't answer.

"Take care of him" He shouted angrily to his man , his jaw clenched and his angry red eyes not leaving my face.

"Dylan , No" my eyes widened. "Are you going to kill him?" I asked with pleading eyes.

"He hurt my woman. He hurt you" He said loudly and then punched the wall beside me and I gasped.

"Dylan , what are you doing? I grabbed his hand , a tear fell down from my eyes when I saw blood on his hand. "I am fine , Dylan. Stop hurting yourself" I pleaded.

He ran his hand through his hair and sighed.

"I'm sorry. I just couldn't see that bruise." He wiped my tears and kissed my eyelids. "But I am not going to spare him" He said looking directly in my eyes.

"Dylan , you are not going to kill him. Please." I held his hand.

"You don't want me to kill him?" I shook my head and then he nodded.

"Okay then , I am not going to kill him" I sighed.

"William will" With this , he smashed his lips on mine.
